1. The Pre-Ceremony Excitement

The build-up to your big moment is full of anticipation and joy. Capturing the “getting ready” process for both the bride and groom, with candid moments like laughter with friends, emotional family interactions, and the final touches on hair and makeup, creates a personal and emotional start to your wedding film.

My favorite aspect to film for the grooms is the stylish "lapel pop", a good watch examination, and the cufflinks... can't forget the cufflinks!

2. The First Look

Whether or not you choose to see each other before the ceremony, that first moment when the bride and groom lock eyes is magical. Capturing that raw emotion—whether it’s during a private first look or at the ceremony aisle—makes for one of the most touching moments in any wedding video.

3. Walking Down the Aisle

There’s something truly cinematic about the walk down the aisle. Whether it’s a grand entrance or a simple, intimate moment, the emotions on both the bride’s and groom’s faces are priceless. It's one of those moments where all eyes are on you, and it’s a perfect way to begin the story of your day.

4. The Vows

The heart of the ceremony is in the vows. Whether you write your own or stick to tradition, this moment is full of deep emotion. Capturing the words you exchange with each other, the promises you make, and even the reactions of your guests makes this moment a must-have for your video.

(Letter reading can also add a great touch to your wedding film, ESPECIALLY if you do not use personal vows!)

5. The First Kiss as a Married Couple

The “You may now kiss the bride” moment is iconic. This is the culmination of the ceremony, and the pure joy on both of your faces as you share your first kiss as a married couple is a must-capture moment that brings the ceremony to a beautiful close.

6. Candid Guest Reactions

Some of the best moments during a wedding happen when guests aren’t aware of the camera. Capturing the laughter, tears, and genuine reactions of your loved ones throughout the ceremony and reception adds depth and emotion to your wedding film.

7. The First Dance

Your first dance as a married couple is such a personal moment, often filled with intimacy and joy. Whether it's choreographed or impromptu, this is one of the most emotional and heartfelt moments of the reception, making it a key element in your wedding video.

8. Parent Dances

Dancing with your parents is an emotional highlight of any wedding. These moments showcase the bond between parent and child, and they bring out touching reactions from both the dancers and the guests. It's a moment that shows love across generations and is always a tear-jerker.

9. The Speeches

Wedding speeches are personal, sometimes funny, and often deeply emotional. Capturing the heartfelt words from your closest friends and family adds another layer to the narrative of your wedding day. Whether it's a witty best man's speech or a tearful toast from a parent, these moments make your video truly unique.

10. The Send-Off

Your wedding send-off is the perfect way to end the day on a high note. Whether it’s a sparkler exit, a classic car getaway, or even a dance-floor send-off, this moment signifies the beginning of your new life together and creates a visually striking and emotional closing scene for your wedding video.

Bonus! Bloopers

I like to include "bloopers" in the ends of my films. These are moments I try to capture that won't make the film but can make the bloopers! Footage of your big day that you and guests might find silly!

Also, I include other important bits of the day that might not make the feature. For instance, if you have a first look with your groom, AND a first look with your father; most cases it can alter the flow of an edit. So, I include the father first look at the very end of the film. My higher packages include the first looks as separate films!
